SNOOKER BUS
On board we have snooker, pool, music, karaoke, Wii, PS3 and board games.
However,
it's not just about playing games. The Snooker Bus provides a platform to get the
educational and vocational opportunities that are available, across to disadvantaged
young people in the community, who might have previously been excluded. It's a great
opportunity to inform the young people of the life and work choices available to
them today. Outcomes = Volunteering, Peer to Peer Mentoring and Pathways to FE/FTE.
URBAN TOURS
Snooker Bus is currently working in partnership with Sheffield City Council, Youth
Offending Service, South Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Police as part of its
Urban Tours Programme.
REDUCING ANTI-
Snooker Bus is a social space where young people are given the opportunity to volunteer
their soft skills to enable them to acquire employability skills.
